I started my photography career while walking through the narrow streets of Burma nearly ten years ago. During an extended trip through remote, and not so remote, parts of India, Burma, China and other wonderful places in Asia, I first began my love affair with photography. Lead by the skills of Danish photographer Morten Germund and French artist Vincent Bousserez, I was taught to see life differently and from amazing angles.

That fateful trip was one of many to new and exciting countries around the world, over 60 and still counting.  Each time I bring a camera and earn a new appreciation of life, and my goal is always to bring back some of that life to my home in Canada.

In the past ten years I been fortunate enough not only to travel extensively, but also to share in many incredible and exclusive events.  From shooting photos of the Prince of Wales, Stanley Cup events, hanging out of helicopters, Country Music and Rock Artists, Opera singers, it has been an adventure!  In the past six years I've taken my fine art and journalistic background and applied it to Wedding and Family photography, and I have been thoroughly enjoying it.

Wedding photography has become one of the most creative fields of photography, and I get excited every time I meet with a new couple and think about all the fun ways to turn their wedding into lasting artwork.  I thoroughly enjoy capturing the anticipation, excitement and moments of the day for the couple.

Wedding photography is an ever changing area of photography, and every year I continue to attend seminars and I am constantly trying to bring something new and exciting to every print I create.

From my journeys around the world, my travel artwork can be seen on a regular basis at Kohon Gallery.  Sheila, Nicole and the rest of the women there have been so wonderful and supportive of my art.
